FULTON COUNTY, KY OPPORTUNITY ZONE

OZ Designation Means Major Tax Benefits for Investors

The federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 allowed the governor of each state to nominate certain census tracts as Opportunity Zones (OZ) in which investors are eligible for significant federal tax benefits.

Fulton County contains one of 144 sites across 84 counties in Kentucky to receive the Opportunity Zone (OZ) designation.  OZ designations are effective for 10-year periods, or until Dec. 31, 2026.
